{Cheese Plates} Enoteca San Marco in the Venetian, Las Vegas

The best food memories I have of Las Vegas happened at Mario Batali’s Enoteca San Marco.  Why?

Because there was a cheese plate.

And we like cheese plates.

We had the server choose the best 7 cheeses offered and were given this platter with the accompaniments that included Honey with Truffle Oil, Brandied Cherries, and Apricots. It was absolutely amazing. I followed this with an incredible Margherita pizza and paired it all with a pretty Friulian white wine .

Doniree is based in Portland, Oregon, where she is pretty damn thrilled about the Pacific Northwest's focus on local and seasonal food and great wine. When she's not at home, she's on the hunt for the best brunch, the best happy hour, and the best whiskey bar a city has to offer.
