This last trip to Portland, Oregon was a foodie adventure for sure – I’m still working on editing all of the pictures and putting together a post to hopefully do it justice, but in the meantime… feast your eyes on this deliciousness.

I'm a Portland native as you know, but I've actually only been to one of those places you mentioned – Mio Gelato. I've been to a couple. The one by Powell's and then one in a Portland 'burb where my friend is assistant store manager. It is so yummy. I'll have to check out these places next time I'm in Oregon to see my family.

DO IT, you will not regret it! I'd also recommend Benessere, it's right next to Southpark in the Arts and Culture District. It wasn't on the tour this time, but we were told it is frequently – anyway, it's about 3 months old and is an oil and vinegar shop that's amazing. Great owner, amazing flavors – definitely check that out next time you're there!
