Got twenty-two bucks? I’ve got something for you.

The Bent Brick in Northwest Portland is hosting a handful of holiday events this season, including this week’s Holiday Cocktail and Snack Class on Wednesday, November 13th at 6:30pm. Guests of this event will learn how to make a cocktail as well as some easy, crowd-pleasing snacks.

I’m going (and I’m stoked), there are a few spots left, and there’s a 50% discount for Nomadic Foodie readers. The full price of the class is $45 per person, but you can get in for $22.50.

I’ve been to The Bent Brick once for happy hour, and their cocktail list is outrageously fresh, local, and innovative, so I can’t wait to see what we learn from bar manager, Michelle Ruocco. Sous Chef Ryan Mead will lead the tasty snacks part of the class.

Want in? Reservations can be made by emailing info@thebentbrick.com or by calling The Bent Brick at (503) 515-2323. Just mention this blog post/discount when you do for the 50% discount.

About The Bent Brick:

Chef/owner Scott Dolich has fostered relationships with local farms and purveyors over the last ten years with his much lauded first restaurant Park Kitchen. The Bent Brick mirrors Portlanders’ pride in local cuisine serving seasonal items, only local wine and beers on tap and the unique cocktail menu offering the finest in local and domestic spirits. The Bent Brick resides in an iconic brick building that matches its warmth with family friendly service and playful style.

Well, this just sounds AWESOME, and it makes me wish I lived in Portland so I could check it out. Never been to a cocktail making class before, and I think it would be a blast!

This sounds like so much fun! If only I weren’t so terribly far away.
